CONGRATULATIONS for doing it so far! People who look at these business models are open-minded and have a strong desire to have more in their lives.
Many of you have heard of the terms Network Marketing, MLM or Direct Sales and discussed somewhere. Even if these words have been wandering for a while, they carry a lot of mixed messages, and they are often mistakenly mistaken. So that we can all be on the same page here, let’s define them.
* a company produces a product or provides a service, takes care of research and development, finance, management and then joins forces with a group of independent distributors who market products for the company, each in the industry for himself … and then get paid commission checks
* a way to distribute goods and services
* a way to educate people about products, goods and services
* A phenomenal opportunity for you for personal development
* a group of distributors who receive training and support and who in turn get others to join them in the business world and do the same
* be the head of your organization
* a way for the company that manufactures products to eliminate the need for wholesalers, workers, intermediaries and all intermediaries
* a way to take advantage of time and effort
* an economic way to start a business.
In summary, there is no great mystery for Network Marketing. It’s just another form of sales and distribution.
Like any other business model, Network Marketing has a history. The Network Marketing industry has just over 50 years of experience. Yet, in its brief history, it has made enormous progress.
There are big companies and there are very bad ones, just like in any other industry. You may not know that companies like Colgate-Palmolive and the Gillette Company have Network Marketing subsidiaries. In recent years Sprint has generated a huge amount of new customers and has created a lot of wealth using this business model.
As in franchising, Network Marketing in the past has been criticized due to ignorance. However, now that Network Marketing is gaining global acceptance as a business model, more and more products are being offered through this distribution channel.
When you control a Network Marketing company, do your homework:
* What is the payment plan, what is their remuneration structure and how often do commissions pay,
* How many products do you need to move to be profitable,
* How many people do you need to bring in business with you to succeed,
* What kind of training and support can you expect,
* Do they use technology effectively so you can become global,
* What does the company’s future growth look like,
* Is this an opportunity supported by a product or a product supported by an opportunity,
These are just a few questions to get you going. However, I would like to go a bit further on the last point: Opportunity first or Product before,
My first experience in the home business sector was with a network marketing company. I loved the products and I still do it today! The scientific research carried out by this company is second to none. The philosophy of health and well-being is in line with my belief system. I received a very precious personal development. I have nothing negative to say about the company and its products. However, I experienced the struggle in this business. I am the first to admit that I am solely responsible for my lack of financial results. However, I learned a very valuable business lesson. This healthcare company has had fabulous products backed by an opportunity. The products came first, so the financial opportunity. Although this plan was not on multiple levels and was based solely on the amount of volume produced that was generated, it meant every week, every month, thousands of dollars of products needed to go through my organization so that my associates and I see commissions checks exceeding $ 100.00. This was a plan where you had to have thousands of people in your organization to get 5-digit income per month. This was a plan that could take many years to build.
Multi level marketing
In this model there are many of the same aspects of Network Marketing, but there are significant subtleties. The main difference is that you get paid on levels compared to the amount of volume strictly related to your organization. The percentages of commissions paid vary depending on the sales level of the product generated.
Sell a product creates a commission. When the same customer buys more products, you earn additional fees. The types of products distributed through this channel vary widely. The direct sales industry is vast and includes a variety of commission payment scales. It also uses many of the concepts of franchising and networking. Go to your Barnes and Nobles or Chapters book store and you’ll find the shelves full of information on the subject. The Internet has hundreds of thousands of sites dedicated to this sector. In my opinion, John Milton Fogg is a great author on these types of distribution models. He constantly seeks the truth and works to get rid of false and misleading information. Recognizes that the positive facts of the models are sufficient enough that they do not need to beautify and lie.
“Direct selling offers an unprecedented opportunity for millions of people to take responsibility for their own economic well-being, create long-term financial stability and even achieve significant wealth, while enriching the lives of countless others.” Paul Zane Pilzer
As you verify opportunities, you will be able to find what resonates with you. There is a factor common to all these various business models and this is YOU! You are ready to get out of the box, look at something different and take action to achieve the desired goals of happiness, tranquility, get the financial picture, freedom over time and so on. Those who have succeeded have stopped blaming, complaining and justifying the lack of results. They advance and use every obstacle as a learning opportunity.
I have to say that often because of past negative experiences, people are hesitant. They may have started earlier with a company and it did not work for them. They return to their previous mold and do not want to look at anything else. This is a pity, as if it often took a couple of beginnings to learn which business model is right for you and to learn the basic skills you need to achieve your desired level of success. What works for one person may not work for another because of your individual belief system. Rather than retreat, keep looking for the company that resonates well with you, your values and your goals. There are many great companies out there and all you need is ONE such opportunity to achieve your success.
Today, thanks to my husband who was willing to take another look, after we had not been successful with our first adventure, he and I are working with a plan that uses Network Marketing concepts combined with a sales payment plan direct. This state-of-the-art business model takes full advantage of the technology of your home computer, your phone and a conference bridge. Many countries are close at hand, all from the comfort of home. The advantages of leverage exist here.
